He was a life member of Mill Creek Fire Company, where he was Honorary Deputy Chief and held numerous offices. He joined the fire company on October 2, 1967.
He was a life member of the Eastern Division International Association of Fire Chiefs, life member of Delaware Valley Fire Chiefs and held offices in the County and State Chiefs Associations.
