Jacob's first wife was Elizabeth Gans 1803-1828. They had three children, Sarah, Elizabeth and Lisebeth. Mother Elizabeth passed away a short time after giving birth to daughter Lisebeth (both passed during birth). I have been unable to find where Elizabeth Gans Hoover is buried. At the time of her death, Jacob and her lived in Stark County, Ohio.
