Mrs. Bateman was a loving wife and grandmother. She was married to Monroe Bateman for many years and grew a vegetable garden and canned food for many years, she was the best cook i ever knew. She leaves to cherish her six children all living, and one son died when he was very young. Mrs. Bateman also helped take care of her adult brothers. The world is a better place for her being in it.
