Scott Allan Gamblin, age 27, of Wheatfield passed away August 5, 2007 at Porter Hospital, Valparaiso, IN.
He was born December 23, 1979 in Ripley, MS to Donna (Hanish) and Jeffery Allen Gamblin, both deceased.
Scott attended Gary Public Schools. He was an Electronic Salesman and Installer at several retail businesses including Best Buy and Wal-Mart and previously worked as a landscaper.He attended DeMotte Christian Church.
Scott is survived by his paternal grandparents, Virgil and Beverly Gamblin, Wheatfield, IN, maternal grandmother, Lee Simmons, FL, half-brothers: Justin and Zachery Gamblin, both of Ligonier, IN and Jesse and Chris Hanish; half-sister, Charlee Raduenz, Portage, IN.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Jackson Funeral Service, DeMotte, IN. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 11 AM at Jackson Funeral Service, DeMotte, IN with Pastor David Snyder officiating.
