Dessie Lee Johnson, 84, of 3 Sycamore St., widow of Everett Douglas Johnson, died at 11:47 a.m. Tuesday at the Clark Regional Medical Center.

A native of Estill County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mayme Adams Baber. She was a retired employee of Curlee Clothing Company, a homemaker and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and S.M. Anderson and Lisa and Scott McClure, all of Winchester and Sandy and Tex Hounshell of Liberty; seven grandchildren and three spouses, Tammie and Foster Bartlett, Tonia and Doug Chanslor, Mark Case, Jana and Jeff Rich, Michael Hounshell, Eric Pitts and Joshua Pitts; three stepgrandsons, Kent McClure, Daniel McClure and Travis McClure; five great-grandchildren, Alexis Chanslor, Caleb Chanslor, McKenzie Hounshell, Austin Rich and Dustin Rich; a sister-in-law, Anna Clay Chism of Winchester, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Eric Patterson. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Scott McClure, Jeff Rich, Eric Pitts, Doug Chanslor, Mark Case and Ray Snowden; honorary, Clinton Snowden, Scott Snowden, Dr. Harold and Debbie Moberly, Caleb Chanslor, Dustin Rich, Austin Rich, McKenzie Hounshell, Alexis Chanslor, Josh Pitts, Tex Hounshell, Michael Hounshell and S.M. Anderson.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association, c/o Gene Mosley, 314 Maryland Ave., Winchester, KY 40391.
