Nelda Marie Norris,70,Cave City,died at the home of her son,David Williams in Bowling Green,following a lengthy illness.She was a member of the Cave City,Church of Christ.
Born in Monroe County,she was the daughter of the late Willie G. and Bertha (Payne) Branstetter.She was first Married to Hubert S. Williams,who died Feb. 27,1957.She late married to Reed Norris, also now deceased.
Survivors include four sons,James,David, Johnny,and Mark Williams,all of Bowling Green;five brothers-Raymond,Summer Shade,Paul,Crawfordville,Ind;Wallace,Tompkinsville,Edward and Hartzell, both of Edmonton;three sisters,Opal Howard,Tompkinsville;Elsie Hodges,Summer Shade,and Christine Pierce,Louisville.
There are nine grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of Hardy and Son Funeral Home in Bowling Greenk Tuesday afternoon,Dec. 16 with Bro. Alan Daniels officiating.Burial was at Smiths Grove Cemetery.∼See memorial 38159860 for the last name Norris. The family wanted her listed as a Williams.
