WINSTED – Keith A. Fox, 44, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2009. He was the loving husband of Cheryl (Springsteen) Fox for 25 years. Born July 29, 1964 in Winsted, the son of William Fox and the late Ethel (Mumpher) Fox. He was employed by Regional Medical Center in Lubec, Me., where he started many programs such as a Cancer Support Group, Christmas party functions and also supporting the elderly with heating and additional assistance. Keith made a big difference in peoples' lives. In addition to his devoted wife, he is survived by a son, Justin W. Fox of Winsted; three daughters, Sarah E. Fox, Willow G. Fox and Paige A. Fox, all of Winsted; a brother, Glen Fox of Windsor; four sisters, Sandra Bertothy of Chaplin, Linda Connor of Windsor, Bonnie Lambert of Winsted and Gail Nebel of Winsted; a nephew, Eric Nepel of Winsted and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main St., Winsted at 12 p.m. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be held at Winchester Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Center for Cancer Care Fund, 200 Kennedy Drive, Torrington, CT 06790.
