Robert Dale Keen Jr., 50, died Friday (Jan. 12, 2007) at his home in McCook.

He was born Aug. 16, 1956, in McCook to Robert Dale Sr. and Clara Elizabeth (Ruby) Keen.

He married Gail VanVleet in 1974.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gary Berry of McCook, and sister, Wanda Keen of McCook.

Survivors include his son, Christopher Michael Keen and wife, Emily of Wisconsin; two brothers, Harold and wife, Pat Berry of Oberlin and Carroll and wife Janice of Arvada, Colo.; four sisters, Diane and husband, William Slagle of St. Libory, Deanna Sekyra of Columbus, Terrie Bredvick of McCook and Debbie McNutt and husband, Earl of McCook; three grandchildren; special friend Penny Hatla of Dysart, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephew.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Herrmann Memorial Chapel in McCook, with the Rev. Steve Bales officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
