Mrs. Emma Lotz, 80, died on Thursday night, Jan. 1, 1953, in her home at 561 2nd Ave, NW, Carrollton, on her 50th wedding anniversary. She was the wife of C. I. Lotz. Born in Harrison Township, she was a life resident of Carroll County and had lived at Carrollton 31 years. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church and You and I Bible Class. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Dora Gottsman, of Carrollton; two sons, Oscar of the home and Arthur Lotz of Columbus; two brothers, Harry and Harvey Leyda of Malvern; and three grandchildren. Services were Sunday in the Allmon Funeral Home, Rev. John Sutz officiated. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
