RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Graveside services for Clarence Archie "Toad" Bratcher, 83, Sun City, were Oct. 8, 2002, at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area No. 2. Family members officiated the service. He was honored with a full military service.

Mr. Bratcher died Oct. 3, 2002. He was born Feb. 6, 1919, near Stratford, Okla., to Thomas Harrison and Alice Victoria Edwards Bratcher.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Following the war, he worked in an auto parts store and did mechanic work in Stratford. He later relocated to California where he was employed by Douglas Aircraft until his retirement. He later moved to Sun City.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Bratcher, of the home; four children, Dwayne, Diane, Linda and Lou, all of California; two brothers, Shortie Bratcher, Roff, and Bill Bratcher, Ada; a sister, Ruby Wadlow, Ravia; nine
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Miller Jones Mortuary, Riverside, was in charge of arrangements.
