Alverta Rebecca Line, 79, of 314 Petersburg Road, South Middleton Twp., died Monday in Carlisle Hospital.
She was formerly employed at George's Florist Shop, Carlisle, and was a member of Hickorytown United Methodist Church and Sunday school and United Methodist Women.
Surviving are her husband Hewitt "Sparkey" Line; two sons, Clarence E. and Kenneth E., both of Carlisle; two daughters, Regina M. Lauffer of Shippensburg and Doris J. Rice of Carlisle; five brothers, Lowrie, John E. and Gordon E. Smith, all of Carlisle, and Lester A. and Richard M. Smith, both of Newville; a sister, Ida M. Helman of Carlisle; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in her church. Burial will be in Kutz's Church Cemetery, Middlesex Twp.
