MURRAY, Ky.--Services for John Henry Barnett, 70, of Murray were Monday at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with Samuel E. Beeny Sr. officiating. Burial was in Hicks Cemetery.
A native of Calloway County, Mr. Barnett died Friday evening at West Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force after more than 20 years of service.
Surviving are two daughters, Lisa G. Smith of Sharon, Tenn., and Melissa J. Waggoner of Farmington; two sons, Myles Barnett and Michael Barnett, both of Murray; a sister, Judy Barnett of Murray; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, John Mark Barnett, and one daughter, Amanda Marie Barnett. His parents were Clarence Barnett and Odell Smith Barnett.
