Maurine H. Charleston, born March 31, 1921, in Macon, Mo., passed away May 20, 2016, in Colorado City, resident since 1973, previously of Pueblo and Rosita, Colo.
Preceded in death by husband Alfred L. Charleston; two brothers; and parents. Over 50-year member of the order of Eastern Star. Retired from Colorado State Hospital as OTA in 1983. Survived by daughter, Elaine (deceased spouse, Richard) Smith of Colorado City; and son, Ronald (Vita) Charleston of Yucaipa, Calif., four grandchildren, 11 great-grand-children and six great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at Imperial Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 10 a.m.
