She was born May 13, 1929 in Fillmore, UT, daughter of Homer Franklin Robison and Miriam Barney. She grew up in Fillmore surrounded by a loving family including numerous cousins.
She married Earl Stewart Talbot on August 26, 1947; later divorced. Anita and Boyd Ferguson Butler were married on May 14, 1976 and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on February 27, 1981.
Anita is survived by her brother, Acea Robison, Logan, UT, and by her children Keith and Arlene Talbot, Gordon and Wilma Talbot, Debra and Gary Colby, Yvonne and Mel Lake, Nathan and Kayleigh Butler, Mel and Carol Butler, Marie and Jerry Donovan, Jim and Pat Butler, JoAnne and George Hicks, Larry and Kathy Butler, Kathy and Patrick Cramer, and Cindy Curtis. She also mothered many other children and youth. She has 44 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Anita was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed attending church and participating in the callings she was given, especially in Primary and missionary work. Her faith and testimony touched many who will always remember her sweet spirit. Luke 10:42 "But one thing is needful: and (she) hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 in the Elk Run Ward Chapel (3601 South 8400 West, Magna). Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2009 at Peel Funeral Home (8525 West 2700 South, Magna) and prior to the services at the Church from 10-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
