She was a native of Shelby County, born there November 8, 1901, the daughter of Mrs. Hattie Hedges White, Frankfort, and the late John White. She had resided most of her adult life in Franklin County, was a member of the Graefenburg Baptist Church, a member and teacher of the Ruth Sunday School Class of the church, a member of the Bridgeport Homemakers Club and the Women's Missionary Society.
Surviving her are her husband, Forrest Roberts, Frankfort; two sons, John W. Roberts and Ralph Roberts, both of Frankfort; one daughter, Mrs. Alice Faye Hardin, Frankfort; mother, Mrs. Hattie Hedges White Frankfort; four sisters, Mrs. Iva Woods, Smithfield, Mrs. Bessie Smith, Waddy, Mrs. Gladys McBrayer, Frankfort, and Mrs. Beatrice Morris, Frankfort; one brother, Luther White, New Orleans, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services was held from the Harrod Bros, Memorial Chapel at 10:00 Friday morning with the Rev. Tom Henry, pastor of the Graefenburg Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in the family lot in the Sunset Garden cemetery.
Pallbearers were Davis Smith, Noble Kir, Ronnie Smith, Wayne Morris, Tony Morris and Edward Kirk.
