Harold Council, age 100
Harold "Reid" Council, 100, Maryville, died Sunday, May 30, 1993, at a hospital here following a brief illness.
Mr. Council was born in Barnard, Mo., and had lived in Maryville since 1956.
He was a retired farmer and carpenter. Mr. Council was also a member of the Maryville First Christian Church and of the Savannah Masonic Lodge No. 71 A.F. & A.M.
In 1913, he married the former Golda B. Russell at Graham, Mo. She survives of the home.
Mr. Council was preceded in death by a daughter, Nina Blair, a grandson, David, and a brother, Earl.
Additional survivors: three sons, Harold R. of Chillicothe, Mo., Murray D. of Aloha, Ore., and Homer L. of Barnard, Mo.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville. Visitation: any time prior to service, at the funeral home.
