Funeral services for J.D. Frasier, 94, held March 5, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville. Burial will be in the Farmerville City Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Mr. Frasier, a retired foreman at the Thermatomic Carbon Plant in Sterlington and U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in WWII, went to his heavenly home on March 2, 2015. Mr. Frasier, a Deacon of Culbertson Baptist Church was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Melba Frasier and 1 brother, Carl Frasier.
Left to cherish his memory is his 1 son, Danny Frasier & wife Peggy; 1 daughter, Carol Frasier Gates & husband Tig all of Farmerville; 4 grandchildren, Steven Frasier & wife Kathy of Farmerville, Dawn Frasier Bradshaw & husband Scott of Choudrant, Michael Wayne Gates & wife Joan of Haughton and Christy Putman & husband Dale of Farmerville; 8 grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild; 3 nieces, Alice Frasier Cale, JaneFrasier and Carla Frasier Smith.
