Utica Daily Press, 1984 - BRIDGE WATER - Andrew A. Bailey, 73. of Williams Trailer Park, December 4, 1984 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center. He was born in Millers Mills. September29, 1911, the son of Everett and Helen Getman Bailey and received his education in Millers Mills He was married to Nina Cole in 1935. She died in 1981. In 1982, he married Louise Short. Mr. Bailey was employed at Marsh Construction Co.; was a member of the Federated Church, West Winfield, a member of the Senior Citizens of West Winfield and a member and Treasurer of the Bridgewater Senior Citizens. He also served on the Board of The East Winfield Cemetery Association. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Charlotte) Pope, Richfield Springs; two sons, Charles and Hyde, both of West Winfield; two step-daughters, Helen Piersma, New Hartford and Mrs. Frank (Marjorie) Hester Sr. of New York Mills; one sister, Hilda Wood, Richfield Springs; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Friends are invited to attend his funeral Thursday afternoon at l: 15 at the Wilcox Funeral Home, West Winfield and 2 o'clock at the Federated Church with the Rev. Roland Brown officiating. Interment will be next spring in East Winfield Cemetery. Calling hours at the Funeral Home, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers, please consider the West Winfield Ambulance Fund or the Federated Church.
