Funeral was 2 p.m. Saturday in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn; one son, Gil of Roland; his father, James Lyons of Mountainburg; three sisters, Tommy Vestal of Greenwood, Doris Moore of Chester and Vicki Grimes of San Francisco; one brother, Howard of Mountainburg;and one grandson, Seth Lyons.
Pallbearers were Daniel Daws, Richard Tatum, Jackie Moore II, Robert Elmore Jr., Joey and Matt McGee and Lance and Eric Vestal.
