She was born in Ingram on January 29, 1948, the daughter of the late John and Ezzie Partin Taylor. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church and had been a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Raymond Green; and her precious son, Steven Scott Green.
Survivors include her brothers and their wives, James and Nancy Taylor, Jake and Joyce Taylor, Oscoe and Diane Taylor, Elbert and Linda Taylor and Cecil and Christine Taylor; sisters and their husbands, Dorothy and Wayne Howard, Clara and Kenneth Fuson, Carolyn and Bobby Fuson, and Dwanna and Wayne Bull; special nephew, James Fuson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Cox and the Rev. David Fuson presiding. Music will be provided by the Ebenezer Baptist Church Choir.
Burial will follow in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville which is honored to be serving the Green family.
