She was born Dec. 7, 1962, in Brighton.
She was a 1981 Brighton High graduate and a Boettcher scholar. In 1985, she earned degrees in psychology and communication from the University of Denver.
She was a former purchasing agent in the floral shop at King Soopers and recently at Safeway.
She was a member of Calvary Temple Church of Denver.
Her interests included Bible studies, volleyball and bicycling.
She is survived by her parents, Bob and Jan, Brighton; and a sister, Jennifer Amsberry, Denver.
