FORMER AMHERST MAN DIES
On March 25, Conrad Hageman, former Amherst man, passed away at his sons home in Lorain. Mr. Hageman was born in Germany in 1831. When 15 years old he came to America and settled in Amherst where he resided until 1907. He was 85 years old at the time of his death.

He leaves 4 sons and 3 daughters to mourn his death, Albert, August, and Herman of Lorain, Elmer of Amherst, and Mrs. M.C Gegenheimer, Mrs. M. G. Trinter, and Mrs. Frank Kunkleman all of Vermilion. TRhereis also a brother and a sister at Independence Iowa.

Rev Eglj and Rev. Lindenmyer officiated at the services which were conducted in Lorain.
