Dearest wife of Mahlon Miller. The couple was married on the 16th of May 1872, in Lewistown by Rev. J.H. Brown of the Lutheran Church in the presence of Frank Kline and Matilda Brown. To this union five children were born. Two of the children died in childhood.

The living sons and daughter are Arthur J. Miller, Edward E. Miller, both of Lewistown and Mrs. Harry (Mary J.) Ellinger of Maitland.

Mrs. Miller's paternal home was located in Decatur Township. Her parents were Peter and Elizabeth DIEHL Snook. One sister, Mary J. Wagner of Colon, St. Joseph's County, Michigan survives.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Evangelical Church almost 60 years and was a woman held in the highest respect and esteem by everyone who knew her.

Pallbearers were: Robert Bearley, Michael Spigelmire, John Ellinger, Daniel Wolfgang, William Montgomery and William Logan.

Among the out of town relatives and friends at Mrs. Miller's funeral were: Mrs. C.C. Oldt of Beaver Springs; Mrs. John Haws of Pittsburgh; Joseph Snook and family and Curtin Snook of Belltown and Peter M. Snook of McClure.
