Corwin Samuel West, 71, passed away September 13,
2004, at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
Corwin was born November 27, 1932, in Lakeside, Arizona,
to Karl Bates West and Irma Hansen West. He married
Johna May Nielson on November 10, 1955, in the Mesa LDS
Temple.
He graduated from Mesa High School, Arizona State with a
Bachelors in Chemistry, a Masters in Public School
Administration, Arizona and a Doctorate in Naprapathy. He
taught chemistry at Westwood High School in Mesa,
Arizona. He was a Doctor of Naprapathy and Naturopathy,
and was a health lecturer and Lymphologist. He was a
member of International Society of Lymphology. He wrote ?
The Golden Seven Plus One,? ?A 31 Step Equation,? and ?
The 2 Formulas For Life and Death At The Cell Level.? He
has spent most of his life in medical research.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday
Saints. He served a mission to the Northwest States
and served in various callings throughout his life. He
especially enjoyed teaching others the Gospel.
He is survived by his wife Johna May: seven sons and three
daughters, Katherine (Jon) Palmer, Deborah (Ron) Coon,
Joseph West, all of Gilbert, AZ; David (Tana) West,
Queencreek, AZ; Sheryl (Patrick) Kelly, Clearfield; Corwin
(Karie) West, Payson; Karl West, Stephen (Melissa) West,
Daniel (Katty) West, all of Orem; Benjamin (Laura) West,
Tennessee; 33 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; one
brother and four sisters, Geraldine Peterson, Mildred
(Arthur) Packard, Karl (Barbara) West, Wanda (Melvin)
Palmer, all of Mesa, AZ; and Roxie Owens, Showlow, AZ. He
was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and three
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17th, at 11
a.m. in the Orem 3rd Ward Chapel, 50 South 800 East,
Orem. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North,
Orem, and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the
services at the church. Burial will be in the Orem City
Cemetery.
