Mr. Proch served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, retired from Union Carbide after thirty-four years of service and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of La Marque.
He is survived by his wife, Constance Proch of Galveston; sons, Michael Lee Proch and wife Linda Kay of Richardson, Texas, Robert Lynn Proch and wife
Terri of Clear Lake, Texas; brothers Walter Proch and wife Jean, Joseph Proch and wife Shirley and William Proch and wife Bonnie, sis ter-in-law Kathleen Proch all of New Castle, Pennsylvania; sisters Kate Yaema, Olga Herman and husband Alexander both of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Irene Miller and husband Melvin of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; five grand children Allison Proch, Kayla Proch, Lindsey Proch, Casey Proch and KellyProch.
Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, March 4, 2003, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, at the First United Methodist Church in La Marque with the Rev. Elizabeth Moreau officiating.
Burial to follow service at Forest Park East, Webster.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of La Marque, 1825 Howell, La Marque, TX 77568.
