Greer, SC - Milo Solesbee died at 2:45 o'clock Tuesday, Oct. 24, 1944 in the Great Lakes Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, Illinois. Seaman Solesbee had been in the navy for the past 12 months, and prior in entering service he resided in the Victor Mill Community, of Greer, SC. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy May Babb Solesbee; three brothers, Otis, Tom, and Wilbur Solesbee; two sisters, Mrs. Jack Swanger and Mrs. Rufus Terry. The body was sent to Greer, SC on Thursday, Oct. 26, 1944 for interment in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. He was 35 years of age at his demise.
