James D. "Jimmy" Baker, age 54, of Ashland, Va., died October 13, 2004. He is survived by his family, Aubrey and wife, Linda, Sharon and Timmy, Scott and wife, Kelly, Stuart and Crystal; eight grandchildren; a brother, Aubrey; his sisters, Elizabeth, Virginia, and Juanita; and a devoted friend, Marianne. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where services will be held 2 p.m. Friday. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park.
