COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Deborah Sue Birdwell, 45, of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m.
on Wednesday, Aug. 15, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Private burial will follow at a later
date in Odd fellows Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the funeral home.
Miss Birdwell died on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001, at Masters Health Care Center.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1955, in Putnam County to the late Charlie and Mary Mitchell Birdwell. Miss
Birdwell was former manager of Burger King. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Her family includes a brother and sister-in-law, James and Marianna Birdwell of Cookeville; two sisters
and brothers-in-law, Trudy and Bill Dixon of Cookeville, and Dorothy and Russell Flatt of Rickman; five
nieces and a nephew, Becky Robertson, Brenda McCloud, Wendy Birdwell, Charles Flatt, Regina Kelly
and Kathlina Flatt; and several greatnieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Billy Herron.

Bro. Russell G. Flatt will officiate at the services.
