Joseph Hadfield (1798-1858)
July 1909 - At Pleasant Grove, Utah County, July 21. Mrs. Ann M. Hatfield West, passed away very suddenly at 7 a.m. She has been an invalid the past two years suffering from heart trouble. Mrs. West was of an unusually amiable disposition, beloved by all; she was an exemplary wife and mother and consistent Latter-day Saint. She was in her 65th year, having been born Dec. 13, 1843, in Derbyshire, England. She is survived by her husband, Father David West, one daughter, Mrs. Joseph W. Dickerson of this place and a sister, Mrs. Frank Steel of Ogden. Funeral services will be held in the meetinghouse on Friday, 23rd inst., at 1 o'clock p.m. *Deseret Evening News Friday July 23, 1909.
