Matthew Joseph Boles, 17, of Westminster, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, from injuries received in an automobile accident on MD-31 in Frederick County.

Born March 19, 1991 in Round Rock, Texas, he was the son of Patrick Francis Boles Sr. and Michelle LeNette Hooper Boles of Westminster.

He was a senior at Westminster High School, member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in Westminster, member of Boy Scout Troop 595. He was working on his Eagle Scout project and was an avid skateboarder.

Surviving besides his parents are his brothers and sisters, Kristen M. Boles of South Bend, Ind., Patrick F. "Jr.," Natalie A., Caitlin M., Bradley T., Shannon E. and Rebecca C. Boles all of Westminster; maternal grandparents, Albert J. and Rhea Hooper of Hill Top Lakes, Texas. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Vincent F. and Matilda E. Boles.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 595 Johann Drive, Westminster with Bishop Jeff Cook officiating. Interment will be private.
