Frances was the youngest of seven children born to Dr. Robert Bennett Cuthbert and Gertrude Augusta Lombard Cuthbert on 17 Nov 1918. Frances was a beautiful young lady. She married Elton Sims and had two sons. Their names George Elton Sims Jr. and Winston Sims. Her husband was unfaithful and his infidelity caused Frances to slip into a deep depression. George took Frances to her parents house and left her there and took their sons away with him. George's parents helped raise the boys without any contact with Frances. George and Frances divorced. Her mental state became so extreme that she later became institutionalized. She lived out her life in that environment in Florida. When she died, her body was cremated and her ashes placed in an urn. Frances' mother's grave was opened up and the Frances' ashes/urn was placed inside her mother's grave. Frances' mother died during child birth in 1926. She and the baby were buried together and later Frances' ashes were added to the casket.
