Mr. Carmack died Thursday, June 15 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a retired
factory worker for General Motors and a United States Army veteran of Vietnam.
Born November 23, 1945, in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late A.B. Carmack and
Lena Bell (Gore) Carmack Halcomb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by his grandparents, Monroe and Velma Gore and Resa and Allie (Hardy) Carmack.
Survivors include his step-father, Bergie Halcomb of Newport Richie, FL; a son,
Jeremy Carmack of Lexington, KY; a brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Kathy Halcomb
of Eaton, OH; and a sister and brother-in-law, Janie and R.V. Copeland of Hamilton,
IN.
