Ellen attend Central High School and graduated from Milwaukee Downer School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1953. She Earned her B.A degree in Elementary Education From the University of Alambama in 1958 and her M.A. degree in Library and information science from the University of Missouri in 1983.
She was preceeded in death by her daughter, Wendy Rae Rosenfeld, brother Howard L. Abramson,
and her parents William and Ruth [Winograd] Abramson.
Mrs. Rosenfeld was a member of the Congregation Beth Torah, Temple Adath Joseph of St Joseph and Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority.
She is survive by nephew, Jonathan Abramson, Dallas; six first cousins, Marjorie Brodkin, Marjorie Montague, Norma Novak, Joanne Rips, Herschel Sapperstein and Donald Sheffel
