Mrs. Margaret J. (Maggie) McCoy, 83, of 1071 Avondale St., widow of Frank A. McCoy, died this morning at 3:40 at City Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Chester July 15, 1885, a daughter of Jack Hague and Christine Allison Hague. She was a member of the Anderson Methodist Church. Her husband died Jan. 31, 1960
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Alma Dotson ad Mrs. Mable Reed, both of East Liverpool; four sons, Howard McCoy, Francis McCoy and Robert McCoy, all of East Liverpool, and Lloyd McCoy of Ohioview in Industry; four sisters, Mrs. Sadie Betteridge and Mrs. Carrie Baxter of East Liverpool, Mrs. Mildred Haney of Chester and Mrs. Elizabeth Roughs of Columbus; 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and night.
