Funeral services for Hilda Loraine Feuerborn, 81, of Little Axe, were held Friday, 1/12/2001, at Yoakum-Damet Memory chapel with Rev Ralph Shaffer officiating. Interment was in the Lexington Catholic cemetery under direction of Yoakum-Damet funeral home. Mrs Feuerborn died 1/9/2001, at her daughter's home in Little Axe.
She was born 10/20/1919 in Trousdale, OK., the daughter of Frank Lewis Sanders & Dovie Polk Sanders. She was reared east of Lexington and attended school at Jumper. Mrs Feurborn was a nurse aide, retiring from Central State Hospital and then worked as a private duty aide until her retirement. She attended First Baptist church in Norman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Eugene Burleson and Emmett J. Feuerborn, a daughter, Delana A. Rogers, a son, Gayland Feuerborn, her parents, 3 grandchildren, a great grandson, a brother, Elton Sanders, and 2 sisters, Levada Harp and Ida Louise King.
Survivors include a daughter, Elvada Y. Lee & husband Decker of Norman, son-in-law, Robert Rogers of Little Axe, 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Darrell Sanders, Cardell Sanders, and Buster Sanders, and a sister, Carleen Farley.
