3/7/1996- The Purcell Register:
Mass of Christian burial for Larry R. Feuerborn, 50, of Washington, was held March 1, at St Joseph's Catholic church in Norman with interment in the Lexington Catholic cemetery. Services were under direction of Mayes Funeral Directors.
Mr Feuerborn died Feb 27 after a 5 year battle with cancer. He was a 1964 graduate of Washington high school and briefly attended Oklahoma State University before enlisting in the Army. He served 3 years in Vietnam as a Military Policeman and received an honorable discharge. Mr Feuerborn earned an Associate's degree from Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, CA., and a B.S. degree in psychology from the University of Oklahoma. He worked as a correctional officer and a case manager at Lexington Correctional Center from 1976-85 and as a social worker for DHS at Childrens Memorial hospital until he became ill. During the last few years, he took on the role of "Mr Mom". He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona Feuerborn.
Survivors include his wife, Jan, and sons, Web and Ethan, of the home, father, Ralph Feuerborn of Washington, and a brother, Tom Feuerborn of Petaluma, CA.
