A.L. Marrs Services Held Here Sunday
Funeral services for A.L. Marrs were held Sunday afternoon at the baptist church with Rev. C.N. Price officiating. Burial was in the Cowden cemetery.
Arthur Lee Marrs was born June 13, 1900, in Ellis county, Texas, and died Aug. 19 at his home here at the age of 44 years, 2 months and 6 days.
Survivors include his wife and two daughters, Effie Irene and Betty Pauline, of the home, five brothers, John Henry of Clovis, Thomas Floyd of Houston, Grad of Wichita Falls, Jim of Waco and William C. of Honey Grove, and two sisters, Miss Mandy Marshall of Sanger and Mrs. Georgia Tom of Elgin, Texas.
