FRITZ WAYNE HAMMER, 78, of Hughes, Ark., formerly of Memphis, retired salesman for Liquid Carbonic, died of heart failure Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. He was a charter member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and Parkway Village Baptist Church, and was a World War II Navy veteran. Mr. Hammer, the widower of Frances Louise Hammer, leaves a daughter, Barbara L. Bernardini of Memphis; a sister, Doris Ray of Heber Springs, Ark.; a brother, Lyle Hammer of Forrest City, Ark., three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
