He married Pearl May Sandburg on January 14, 1944.
Joined the Army and served in WWII where he was awarded the Purple Heart and achieved the rank of Sergeant before his honorable discharge.
He drove a semi truck for several years.
Preceded in death by his wife Pearl Sandburg Adams, his parents William and Annie Adams, one daughter Virginia Hershiser, one granddaughter McKenzy Pearl Carley, two brothers James Adams, and Raymond Adams, three sisters Francis Adams Waddell, Opal Longtail Fish, and Marjorie Mary Lou Adams.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2009 in the Benjamin Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Roger Sheppard officiating. Final committal rites will be accorded Mr. Adams in the Ball Cemetery.
