The funeral service for Emma L. Clanton, 52, Rt. 3 Box 641, was held Monday at 3 p.m., in the Batstone Funeral Home. Rev. Eugene Knautz conducted the service. Burial was in Shelton Memorial Park.
Mrs. Clanton had been a resident of the area all her life. She was born June 8, 1912 on the Wivell ranch and died at her home last Friday.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley Clanton, Shelton; two daughters, Mrs. Bobbilee Silza, San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Clarke, Olympia; one son, Lloyd Evans, Olympia; four brothers, H. M. Wivell, Clifford Wivell, Clarence Wivell and Rufus Wivell, all of Shelton; two sisters, Mrs. Estella Schierenback, Olympia, and Mrs. Minnie Durand, Olympia; and nine grandchildren.
