Mr. Bacon was born in Hancock, Ill, April 18,1850 and was 49 years old. He was married to Miss Sarah E. Burgess at Bemont, Ill., June 17, 1875. He was united with the Presbyterian Church in 1887 and moved with his family to Lakin in 1888. He was a cashier at the Kearny County Bank. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. at the residence of the family and the remains were laid to rest in the Lakin Cemetery,
