Aged 77 years 5 months 8 days, apoplexy.

He was born in Oregon. In 1880, he was living with his parents and siblings in
Coles Valley, Douglas Co., Oregon.
By 1900 he was living in Lakeview, Lake Co., Oregon and was single. He boarded
with the Richard Russell family on Main Street and his occupation was "lawyer".
His brothers, Virgil, J. C. (Creed), Harmon, Frank, and George were also living
in Lake Co.
He married Lora Fern Butler 21 May 1902 in Dallas, Polk Co., Oregon. Lora was
born 17 Aug. 1875 in Dallas, Polk Co., OR.
In March, 1904, his brother John Creed Conn was murdered in Silver Lake, Lake
Co., Oregon where Creed owned a merchandise store. At that time, Lafe was
District Attorney for Lake Co., Oregon. He did not run for re-election after
1904.
His son Ted was also a lifelong attorney in Lakeview.
