Joseph Kochis Sr., of 298 Clinton Street, died Sunday at 4 p.m. at his home. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Kochis; a daughter, Mrs. William Orzell; two sons, Joseph Jr., and Paul Kochis and 16 grandchildren. The body was removed to the Greskovic Funeral Home, 161 Clinton Street. Funeral announcements will be made later.

The funeral of Joseph Kochis Sr. was held today at 8:30 a.m. at the Greskovic Funeral Home, 161 Clinton Street, and at 9 a.m. at SS. Cyril and Methodius Church. High mass of requiem was celebrated by the Rev. Filas Tretiak of Endicott, assisted by the Rev. Michael Staurovsky. Pallbearers were Peter Galajda, Stephen Nemcovsky, Andrew Vanca and George Basos. Burial was in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Father Staurovsky officiated at the grave.
