66, of Fort Wayne died yesterday in Parkview Memorial Hospital.

The Fort Wayne native was a retired auto salesman, and member of Trinity English Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 82 and 40 et 8.

Surviving are his wife, Anna R.; daughters, Kathy A. Higi, Karen L. Johansen, Kimberly K. Klein, Kelly Bulmahn and Kristine M. Axt, all of Fort Wayne; sons, Rick L., Randy D. and Roger E., all of Fort Wayne; his mother, Catherine I. Axt of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sisters, Gloria Lothamer and Donna Morrissey, both of Lagro, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.

Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be with military honors in Lindenwood Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the American Lung Association or Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice Foundation.
