Terry Daniel Gill, age 61, passed away suddenly due to an auto accident June 2, 2009. He was born in Waycross, GA and was a longtime resident of Duval and Clay Counties. He was a U.S. Army veteran (SGT E5) serving in Viet Nam and was a member of the VFW Post 8255 of Middleburg. Survivors include his mother Elizabeth Thompson, son Jason Gill (Lori) Montgomery , 2 brothers, Gary and Dale Gill, 3 sisters Cindy Garcia, Doris Larson and Wanda Thomas, one grandchild Gabriella, a number of Ú brothers and sisters and many other relatives. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 7, in the Chapel of HardageGiddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL. 32073 with Rev. Rick Crews officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the VFW Post 8255 of Middleburg.
