Heart Attack Fatal To Sterling Huish

Funeral services for Sterling Huish, 53, of Garland, who died Tuesday evening of a heart attack will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Bear River Stake Tabernacle with Bishop Arthur Michaelis of the Garland First Ward officiating.

Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 at Rogers Mortuary and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time for services at the family home in Garland. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Huish was born in Payson, Utah, September 15, 1898, a son of Albert S. and Rosella Phelps Huish. He moved with his family to Garland about 46 years ago. He attended Box Elder high school.

He married Fern Tingey, February 17, 1923 in Brigham City. They moved to Chicago, where he attended the Commercial Academy of Fine Arts. They returned to Garland in 1928, and have lived there since that time.

Mr. Huish was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served as secretary of the Adult Aaronic Priesthood Committee in his ward.

He has been employed by the Utah-Idaho Sugar Company for many years.

Surviving are his widow of Garland, two sons, Sterling Jr., Bloomington, Indiana, and Burton Huish of Garland, one daughter, Mary Ellen Huish, also of Garland, 3 grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Genevieve Driggs, of Salt Lake City.
