OBITUARY OF LAURS JENSEN

Laurs JENSEN and his wife arrived from Denmark. Their story was impressive as they had acquired a home, barn, and land for animals and fenced area for animals. They had also money in the bank with a cute daughter.

In 1887 he fell ill and died, his beautiful wife Marianne followed him shortly to the grave. Her marriage had been challenging. Her first husband she was killed only about three month after marriage. She had not married for a decade and then married him in Fountain Green. She would follow her own husband to death.

Their daughter Mary JENSEN was the central of their life she made total arrange for her guardianship with another family so she could insure this loved child would prosper.

Both Mariane and Laurs were in the county watching the amazing Manti Temple being constructed and spoke of the importance to them.
