HOWARD C. SHIFFLETT, 73

Howard "Clement" Shifflett, 73, of 361 Trenton Ave in Shenandoah, died Saturday, Feb 16, 2008, at his home.
Mr Shifflett was born Feb 20, 1934, in Page County, and was a son of the lat Howard and Beulah Short Shifflett.
He graduated from Shenandoah High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was a cement contractor, having worked with his father and various employers. Following his retirement he worked at the Page County Recycling Center in Shenandoah for over 10 years.
Mr Shifflett was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Milnes Chapter No. 3 Order of the Eastern Star, the A.F. & A.M. Ashler Lodge No. 125 in Shenandoah and the Scottish Rite.
On Oct 12, 1957, he married Emma Jean Deavers who survives. He is also survived by daughter, Debbie S wood of Shenandoah and a grandson.
The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Luthern Church Cemetery near Grove Hill.
The Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home or anytime at the family home in Shenandoah.
