Forrest Taylor was a carpenter and worked in construction. He learned his carpentry skills from his Uncle Roy Emerick, (wife Lena Cheatham). He was also the owner of Taylor Hardware. He made beautiful furniture, was a great cook, and grew a fantastic garden.
He married Lois Marie Siebert June 27,1927 and they had 6 children. Marilyn, Leroy "Bud", Janice, Edward, Daniel, and Sue.
