Florence Newhard
Mrs. Florence Newhard, 83, formerly of Northampton and Nazareth, died Thursday in Leader Nursing Home, Palmer Township. She was the widow of Elwood Newhard.
She was a registered nurse at Allentown Hospital and the former Haff Hospital Northampton, for many years before retiring.
Born in Mifflin County, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Harvey and Naomi (Mohn) Trautman.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton.
Survivors: Daughter, Jane, wife of Alex Bajan of Nazareth; sister, Mrs. Evelyn Mitchell of Martinsville, Ind.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday in the church fellowship hall. Arrangements, Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
